Are rock anemones reef safe? I see they are in the aiptasia family, so would like to find out. Thanks for the help!

Well I cant find a pic of the exact one I am trying to find out info about, which I guess doesnt help determine exactly what kind it is.

lol. btw I love your black clown, as soon as I get my new 55 cycled I'm going to pick up a pair of them.

I only bought like 10 pounds of rock when I started 3+ years ago and then everything else was dryied up base rock about 100 or so.

The black clown came from SITC very nice I have it for a year now. It's favorite place is the torch now, good think left the goni alone. It's doing very good with the other clowns not sure what they are thoug, I get confused :)

Yes rock anemones are reef safe. I've had one in my tank for quite a while now. It came on a 3 x 6 inch rock and I've moved it all around and it's never wandered on me. As with any anemone I keep corals away from it. It's never ate any of my fish and never stung or bothered any thing.

Here is a picture of the anemone that Sytanek picked up yesterday at Sebastian. He is eating and doing very well in my tank, until his tank is ready for him : )
