rock squirting white liguid?

Hey my tank has just finished cycling with 50lb of live rock. I know this sounds weird but i have just noticed a short sharp spray of white liquid coming from somewhere on the rock? any ideas?? thanks

could be some type of worm broadcast spawning, which many inverts will do when under stress. How often does this take place?

every couple of days.. what do you think they could be stressed, its been cycling for a month, all levels are normal, and the only thing in the tank is a peppermint shrimp which was added today..

Could be a worm, a stomatella snail, or o lot of other things. It is a spawning event and is harmless. If your lucky you will end up with a bunch of stomatella snails or even bristleworms.

i see this every so often in my tank and i have a ton of baby stomatellas so i'm guessing it's them.
