A couple months ago, I took live rock out of aquarium. It was covered with aptasia and waving hand. It has sat in the sun and is a pretty white. How do I bring it back in the system. Anything special? Should I just put it in saltwater again with a powerhead and let it cure that way? Thanx Deb

I would take some fresh water and soak, scrub and rinse. Depending how much/big you could place it in your sump or if too much/large place in its own tub and use the water you take out for waterchanges, add a heater power head, to help reseed the dead rock.

Ade described exactly what I'm doing. Rubbermaid tote with 50#, heater, powerhead, water change water...If you put a small piece of good rock in with it, it'll seed a little quicker.
