Rockscape Help

I'm having trouble. I don't know where to go with rocks for the tank. I want an sps dominate tank. A few lps here and there and my anemone but mostly sps. I just can't grasp how to put the rocks together for this.

65 gallon tank. 24" tall. Rockscapes I'm posting are both 17" tall. Not sure which will provide the best growth areas for the sps. The blue table is the workspace that I have in the tank.

I don't have SPS so can't advise you there...but the general rules are 1) no dead spots, 2) not so close to the tank that you can't get in there and clean the glass, and 3) whatever looks best to you! Actually I think there are some "rules" about how to design scapes and they do seem to make for a nice layout. But remember your SPS will grow in and you won't be looking at rock forever. I would think a scape with more surface area to put SPS on up near the top of the tank would be important. As opposed to having like a big pile of rock in one corner and a lot of empty space (which also makes for a neat scape). I like your first example the best.

Option 1 or option 3...the tank layout OrQidz is speaking of is when your facing the tank break it out into 9 sections like a tick tac toe board and make the intersecting lines your focus points #3 does that best.
