rod onxy update

just wanted to share photo of my rod onxy misbarred. if you could look at the clown closely live you will see little blk spot filling in on the 2nd to 3rd bar. photo doesn't show well. looks like sprinkling pepper until all blk. dorsol fin is half blk and half white cuz of second bar. I think that cool.

the mis barred onyx is just awesome.

nice fish, does your camera have a macro feature? On most digital cameras it's a flower symbol, this really helps focus close up shots.

not sure, i will check out the camera some more later. i have to admit that i am one of those who doesn't like to read directions, so i have no clue.

btw, the local vendor that helped us with the group buy for rod's frozen reef food got in 10 rodonyxs and maybe parting with one pair in the near future if anyone might be interested.

snabbs thanks for coming over yesterday. I am glad you got to see them up close. I am darn proud of it too. misbarred is really cool. more character.

My local vendor is thinking about parting with a pair of rod onyx so let me know if you are interested. sorry the one i had i sold to robin. but his is a pair. let me know if you want it.

i just got these photos of the pair that Ed would like to place. he doesn't care for mismarks. these guys are around 1/2"-3/4" size.

Where are you located in SF? Limited time this weekend, but if its a quick/easy trip from Berkeley I could also do this weekend, but it might make more sense to see if snabbs takes them, right? What about the 10 at the dealer?

this is the dealer ones. he is only selling two of these from what i hear maybe one more, but not sure of the other. pretty much sure all of the one he will be selling will be miss barred. just to let you know but all rod onyx.

location is san francisco in richmond/sunset district. more on richmond side.

$70 ea or $135 pair. He will only be parting with 2 or 3 rodonyx clowns, the rest is kept for his display tank. Here's a video of the pair that has already paired up and hosting a RBTA, both has hint of misbarring.
