RoDi filter change

So I bought new filters for the unit. Before I changed them i was getting 1 on the tds meter at max. I have flushed at least 10 gal and I'm still getting 5 on the meter. How much do i need to flush to get it back to 0? or is something wrong?

your measuring your output correct and what kind of meter are you using.

i'll have to check the brand its the only one phishy sells. Yes the output started around 35 and is now down around 5.

how are you measuring can you post your steps

I use a small glass cup and rinse it in the rodi water and wipe with a dry paper towel. then fill up and dip the head of the meter to get a true reading. when your done with you testing to you clean your meter and wipe it off.

Did you change the DI resin? Sounds like you changed the sediment and carbons reducing RO but not the DI resin. If it was a TDS of 35 sounds like your DI resin is shot.

di was changed too readings are still dropping but it just seems like a lot of water to run through the system. its down to about 3 now still higher than before i changed the filters. i think i've ran close to 15 gal through it now. can you say time consuming
