What color does the DI resin change to? My resin separated so it's black on top and beige on bottom but I don't know what it looks like when it's exhausted.
The beige is still good, while the dark is bad. You are getting more flow through the top of your cartridge and that is why it looks like it is separated.
Really? Becuase it's a sharp deliniation between the two and hasn't changed. It separated after about 10 gallons and has been exactly the same after another 100 gallons or so. My TDS meter is supposed to be on the way so I'll test it and see.
