I am beginning the process of setting up my 92G conrner tank & I would like to ATO w RoDi directly intomy sump. So I would like to invest in one. How ever I do not know what brand to get, what to look for, etc. I see MArine Depot has a few within my budget ($100-$200) and I was wonderingif anybody had any advice? Ty in advanced!!

First off I would never put an ro/di unit directly into the sump because if the float valve failed it would overflow your sump and kill your entire tank.

Great place for an ro/di unit would be www.airwaterice.com

I just got one from air water and ice. Nice guys and a good machine. Its also nice that they are here in fla so that you can get filters quick. I went by to pick it up. There not far from jensen beach. The former owner came to speak to fmas a while back. But there under new ownership. Good stuff.

Then I like the auto top off from autotopoff.com

thanks for the info, I didnt think of the consequences of that. As far as what Rodi to get,, I was looking for a little more specific information, as I have no idea about them. they have like five different types, I figure I just need one to produce clean filtered water, enough I guess for a 92g tank...

Thanks again.

Which unit did you end up getting from them (www.airwaterice.com)?
