I have an RO/DI unit that i need to hook up. I don't have much room in my utility room where all my plumbing is, so I need a container to hold the water that is slender and upright. I would like to have close to 50gal on hand when it is all said and done. Any suggestgions on containers. After the running around today I didn't get a chance to get water yet again. I don't want that to happen again.

Let me know

I don't have anything that's 50 gal, but I do have a couple of 29 gallon tanks that you're welcome too. We could always do a DIY project out of acrylic too.

hmm I just use a rubber maid trash can. I have it right beside my ro/di in the garage

The more I think about it the more I think I am going to have to do it out in the garage. I am going to have to the guy that helps me coach soccer, he is a plumber and said he would do what ever it took to get me up and running. We have a meeting in the morning for soccer, and maybe after that I can get him over here.

Hey guys be carefull with those Rubbermade trash cans as they can leech crap into your clean water. My RO/DI would put out at 0 and hit the clean trash can and go up to 20 in minutes. Just a heads up for you to think about.

Yeah TDS would spike up. Longer it sets in the cans the higher it goes or it did with my rubbermaid. Figure it is leeching from the plastic in the can. I ended up mixing it up as I went. If your gonna use a plastic container my understanding is use Food Storage/service grade.
