Rod's coral food?

Gresham tells me that the particles are not small enough in Rod's Coral Food. I've been feeding it to my Schleronephthya for two weeks and am getting an excellent response, i.e., polyps are actively grabbing food, overall coral has show greatly improved expansion, and a small nub that hadn't shown any life started showing polyps and expanding. I realize two weeks is absolutely nothing when it comes to NPS corals, but just sharing my initial experience. Here's a video from today (would appreciate help embedding YouTube videos).

I was speaking about just that coral. I also said MOST which means some of the particle sizes are correct.

Don, I was making a video of the coral eating, but the fish have discovered what comes out of the syringe and completely messed up the action. I'm going to try again tonight, first feeding the fish at the other end of the tank. Thanks for the compliment. I'm pleased with its appearance given the short time I've had it. Next project is more shade for my chili. I'm desperate to have that one succeed.

That is also one of the nps I'm interested in keeping, still in the building system stage ATT. Sounds like the rod's coral food would be a good part of a feeding regime for a mix of nps. I'm about to start a build thread, so will be looking for more opinions/experiences.

It looks like a good mix to me. I wouldn't use it thinking its going to take care of a carnation coral's needs but for the tank in general it is good. I have some that I throw in the food mix occasionally. I find it to be super expensive for the amount you get though, at least around here. With the amount of food you go through with these systems, I don't see it working out in the long run unless you have deep pockets.

I'm feeding Rod's Coral mix, Roti-Feast, and frozen Cyclopeez to my Sclero, Chili, and spiralis. As stated, they seem to be doing well for the very short time I've owned them. Maybe you and/or Aquabacs could recommend what Fauna Marin food would be a good addition to this menu. And, can I effectively feed the FM powders without creating the mixes you guys put together. I'm target feeding because I just have a few very small pieces and it makes no sense to feed the whole tank.

For sure you need Clam food. That will help with the Phyto needs. Can't beat Ultra Min for the fine stuff. I throw in the Sea Fan food, just because. You might also try a blender for your above mix. It will beak some of it down into smaller pieces. Just wash it before your wife gets home! You need to toss in some Phyto. We do know it makes up some of their diet and if not it gets the little things growing in the tank.

Actually I would like to know more about the FM products. I read people use some of this & some of that, but don't really know how it's mixed, amounts, etc.
I have been reading Uhuru's thread (NPS Elos Mini) from over a year ago, on nano-reef tonight. Kinda Uhuru the early years. Love how every one comes up with different ways of feeding. I'm planing on putting food in a 4-5gal tank (as many times a day as I can) that overflows into nps tank (30gal) at about 1-2 gal an hour. Water would come from & return into the skimmer in my 200gal + sps sytem. I really need to start the build thread. Couldn't let this opportunity go by to maybe get some opinions on this since we are talking about feeding.
Rod's food is predominately CyclopEeze, mixed with some planktons, fish and invert eggs, and a few odds and ends...
If you have the time, budget and freezer space, you can mix your own stuff that's just about as diverse, but for an all-in-one, pre-mixed variety Rod's is pretty good... (It will kick your skimming up a notch if you don't take it easy)
