Not sure why my ORA is not as big as the mother colony where it came from, the mother colony polyps are like 3"+/- big.

Mine is the same way.I got my roes about the same time as yours and mine has like 14 heads on it.While my ora only has 3 heads. Here is a pic.Roes in on the right and the ora is on the left.

Very nice I wonder if flow has anything to do with ORAs not been so big, they are in a pretty high flow area, not sure thou

I kept mine in a good amoun of flow and they still look like the ones on the left, mine must be ORA then. Wild caught ones are supposed to be larger based on the couple of comparison pics I have seen.

Oh wow i thought the ORA's were suppose to be the big ones??? I was reading posts from like last year and everyone said the ORA's were like 2-3 times bigger than the wild ones. But you guys are saying the opposite?

Unfortunately all of my Roes duncans died. They got some sort of brown jelly-like growth on them. But over the week-end I got a 7 head frag from my LFS. They have long tentacles and are a very neon green color. My LFS frags his mother colony regularly. His is the size of a basketball, it's beautiful!

i think the reason why ORA's was initally bigger than roe's was because Roe's duncans were wild.. Once you "force"..lol... feed them and they grow out and multiply, they end up 2-3" across, as mine are right now, plus they grow like weeds.
