Hello Roger,

My one-week-old 6045 has been running great until this morning, when I awoke to a vibrating sound and peered in to the tank to notice the impeller occillating around the insige of the housing while still spinning.
I pulled it out of the tank and noticed that the shaft had snapped down by its insertion point in the motor housing. The shaft material appeared to be non-metallic or carbon fiber.

May I send this unit in for replacement/repair?

Sincerely,
Jonathan

Send it and we will replace it, the shaft snapped, it should be stainless steel.

Got it, we are closed for the rest of the week but I have been doing repairs and recieving shipments. I replaced the motor and sent it back out yesterday.

You're the reason I go with Tunze whenever possible.

Thank you.
