Roger-Stream not working

Roger I have a pair of 6000's with a multicontroller. It was time to clean the pumps so I took them out and cleaned them now one of them will not work and a funny noise emanates from the controller (It isn't the alarm sound).

I guess I need to send the pump in to you to have it looked at.

What is the usual method of getting these repaired?

Thanks for your help,
Christopher Gentry

Hello Christopher, when you take the pump apart did you take the upper bearing out to clean too or just the impeller and the motor block? The upper bearing is in the motor block you can use a flat head screw driver to remove it. Sometime you have Ca build up and cause the pump to stop.

If you did remove the upper bearing, did you place it back properly?

Did they work before they were cleaned? If so I would suspect either the magnet of the drive unit cracked or something was put in wrong so I would double check. If not I would send it in-

Jar,

Yeah I took that out and cleaned it but there was no need as that piece was not dirty.

Roger,

I took the unit out of the tank and put it in my water vinegar solution to clean off calcium and replugged it (alarm sounded) and it hasn't started back since. Very peculiar. The other stream is working great though thankfully cause if it stops working too I am in deep **** as I have no other flow in the tank besides my return which has a slow turn over rate.

I have taken the units apart and cleaned them several times with no issues so I am sure it is put back together correctly.

What is the general turn around time? I will ship it out tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply guys.

Another quick question before I box this thing up and ship it to you.

Do I need to send anything else besides the pump?

Glad I waited on your response as I was going to just send the pump.

I will get it out hopefully tomorrow.

Thanks again for your help Roger.
