Hi again Roger:D As you might know from my other post I ordered another 6000 with single controller from Salty critter. My question is I want one 6000 running while the other is off. You mentioned 15min intervals between both. What timer can I get that has at least 40 or so programs and will the timer mess anything up with stream or controller? And will it void warrenty? I want one running for 15min and then the other one running for 15min. 24/7;)

It shouldn't be a problem and no it will not void your warranty- I am the warranty :D. Did you look into that Corralife one? That Fish Place used to sell a unit from Grasslin, kinda pricey but very nice, Grasslin is a Swiss divison of GE specializing in time controls. The Electronic pumps don't rely on the brake system to stop a backward rotation and for this reason this pump is OK on the timer.

Thats the one, it is actually ideal because the yellow sockets turn off when the blue ones turn on and vice versa.

What about using X10. you can create any number of off on options plus write your own macros.

With the Electronic pumps this would be OK but I wouldn't see much point because X10 systems plus a couple single controllers would be as much or more than the multicontroller.
