Romano setup

Do all power bars connect in series to S1-S4? Then go in and renumber and label? Or is S5-S8 involved.

This is cool stuff BTW! I can really see where this is going to be something!

if using only digital power bars (six socket) then yes they all come off of S1-S4, daisy chained.

S5-S8 can be used if you have an analogue bar, want to run the dosing pump independantly or other switchable functions.

We have now being shipped 5meter extensions for the dats cables for the digital bars as this was being requested more and more.

numbering starts from 1 upwards if you have not got an analogue bar in place. If you do thens tart from S5.

MMM careful, too much repeat switching will shorten the life of ANY power bar, I would look at getting a tunze pump and using the Tunze connection cable which may of come with your kit, if not they are around $20 for a cable.

Considering a Tunze controller is way over $200 this is where the ProfiLux wins hands down over any other controller.

Good plan then! Have you looked at the amazing array of functions the ProfiLux gives Tunze users?!

This is one of the most developed parts of the software in my mind and gives the most fun using also.

Is there an error log? My unit is in error and don't know why. I am being a bit lazy here and just asking before reading or looking. Long day...

Had a couple of things "enabled" that are not setup yet- damn odd must have pushed wrong buttons moving unit yesterday.

Thanks again.

One month into owning Profilux feedback.

I am very impressed with overall product & support. Owning this product and Tunzi has convinced me German aquarium products are worth every penny.

My only complaint is not all T5 sizes are supported - at this time. I suspect this will be addressed in time.

The T5 is nothing that profiLux has any control over, its all down to what the Ballast manufacturers decide to launch in 110V.

There have been discussions with manufacturers, but they have to agree the market is strong enough, not just in the aquatic industry to spend out on this type of development.

I know for a fact GHL would love to have this addressed, but their hands are tied.

On a very positive note however if all goes to plan we will have a big lighting announcement coming up in the next short while.

SMS module in final testing stages too!

I think by the end of May we should have some of the big guns launched.

Michael, I have a UV sterilizer that's switches on/off every 5 hours for 2 hour periods. Is that type of switching acceptable?

I think it is, but since my unit is new (1 week) I want to make sure it's OK.
Thanks!
