Hi noobie problem. Help appreciated
I've dropped a classic rooky mistake, I thought my qt tank had finished it cycle so I bought some zoas just to get me started while I build my main tank. Trouble is the tank hasn't finished its cycle and I have the following.
Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrates 100+ ppm
Nitrite 3
Think I did a water change to soon and its triggered the cycle again.:debi:
Question, to save the zoas (I bought a few different species)
Can I remove them in a temporary tank very small with heater and circulation and pit them under my kessil led in position where my main tank with be with fresh saltwater...temporary while the qt tank finishes its cycle.

Feel I need to act now before they start to melt some are open some are closed.:hmm2:

Cheers Rob
Only thinking of 1 - 2 weeks max just stabilize qt qt tank, then return.
How often if at all any water changes for the zoas or let them settle leave alone..?

Test for yourself and adjust/change water accordingly..
Probably every couple days or so.. But way too many variables to guess correctly here..

Yep learnt my my lesson, don't impulse buy on a Saturday night after beers, before things are ready...... my bad..!
Cheers guys
