So my anemone got caught in my pump.. i removed it and placed it on the bottom.. it did attach to a rock.. however, i did see a tear on the bottom.. can it heal or is it gona die?

Depends on how deep the tear is. From what I've seen they can heal up pretty well if the tear is minor and it stays healthy so it can fight infection. Make sure it's eating well and is in a happy area.

And a note, if an anemone gets stuck like that again use an ice cube to help coax it off. It's always worked for me.

It should be fine. The tear may trigger asexual propagation via fission, but it may also simply heal the tear and that's it.

To avoid future problems you may look into removing pumps from the display or providins some sort of protection for the livestock.
My main problem with anemones is the fact that they love to go ever the overflow, which isn't all that simple given the fact that overflows have really small slots in them.
Anyway, they all seem to survive somehow.... ;)

It being torn in the foot isn't a good sign. If it was just the tentacles I would feel a lot better about its chances. I had an LTA loose half of its tentacles because of a power head and make a full recovery. However I have received a couple LTAs that had a hole in its foot that never recovered.

Not saying it is hopeless, but it got damaged in the worse spot. Keep an eye on it and keep your water in check. Hopefully no infection will develop and it will be back to good in no time.

Good luck.

I've had one go from one display, down the overflow to the sump, into the return pump and back into a different display. It looked rough with little rose colored pieces all over the tank, but it eventually recovered and is doing well today. This was well over a year ago.

I agree with Toddrex. Having a tear in the foot gives the anemone a limited chance of survival. It may recover but IME that is unlikely.
I see literally hundreds of anemones n the LFS here in Thailand. A lot of the 'not very good' shops have loads of them just badly collected off the reefs. The ones with torn feet never survive.
I really hope yours does as I am sure your tank has better water quality and is better tended to than some of the LFS here
