I've had my Rose for about 3 or 4 weeks now and it seems that it is actually getting smaller. When I first got it was about 3" inches across, then after about a week it grew to about 4", and now over the last 2 weeks it seems a little shriveled, definitely less than when I bought it.
My parameters seem acceptable - My tank is predominately SPS and they are thriving. I have many LPS also which are doing exceptionally well. Lots of good growth and great expansion.
pH 8.1 - 8.2
SG 1.026
Temp 79 (maintained by chiller)
KH 12.8 (seems a bit high - maintained by MTC ProCal Calcium reactor)
Calcium 440-450
Mg 1330
Nitrate <5
I target feed all my corals and the anemone with Mysis/Rod's/Coral Vibrance mixture once a week just before I do a 10% water change.
Any thoughts as to why this might happen?
