why doesnt my anemone have any bulbs? it did when i first got it..now it doesnt

I've read that could mean it's stretching for light. One of many possible reasons i'm sure.

I have had BTAs under both PCs and MH, even the some anemone didn't show any difference in bulb tips. Same for being with and without a clown. AND, same with feeding a lot, and feeding next to nothing.

No one has found an universal cause for the not having them.

When I bought mine, it had thin long tentacles. Since then, the bubbles have formed. The only thing I have changed is my lighting and I stopped feeding for a couple of weeks. I don't know exactly what did it, but I love the bubbled look it has now.

sometimes it could be due to the quality of your system. nutrients, food, how well are you skimming can be a factor.

I have one that looks nice and healthy, but never bubbles its tentacles. But it didn't have bubbled tips when I got it either.

Toddrtrex gave you the answer - no one knows why they bubble or don't. Research will tell you that there's lots of speculation, but no real answer.
