I've got 12 BTAs in one tank. 3 are green, rest are roses. All on one rock island in the middle of the tank. The tank is lighted by 2 AI Vegas.
The roses all are healthy and happy.
All the 3 greens looked the same (healthy) when I introduced them to the tank (at the same time). 2 are now on the underside of the rock island (doesn't get much direct light) and they look fine. But 1 green which is at the top of the island, surrounded by healthy roses, seem to be bleaching.
I'm presuming from all this, that green BTAs require less light that the roses? Can anyone confirm this from their experience?
As I said, the tank is powered by LEDs, which allows me to set different percentage of different spectrums. Do green BTAs need more green spectrum? My current green spectrum is 10% (red is at 25%).
