Rose Milli

Moved on to my couch
I got a rose milli frag from a local reefer. Out of his tank running t-5's the color on it was amazing. Ive had it for about 2 weeks and the color has gone from a deep red to brown.Still has great pe even through the day. Currently its placed lower half under 250 watt radiums and med/high flow. Do these need higher light? What brings out the red/pink?
Alk 8.6 (salifert)
Cal 450 (salifert)
phospate 0.03 (hanna)
Nitrate undetectable (salifert)
Mag 1350 (Red sea)

Mine sits on the top with a great deal of flows.

Very nice colony. What lighting?

My picture taking skill is not that good. The rose mille is actually more of a deep red color with light blue tips. Lighting is Radion LED.

It can sometimes take a few months or more for a coral to adjust to different lighting. The red/pink millies I have love high light from my Radion, but I also have seen them growing out of the water right under MH. I would give it a couple more months before you worry too much about it.

Keep us updated with any color changes and we can go from there.

So you think higher up under the radiums?

I would suggest slowly moving it up too see how it reacts. Supposing it is not a water param issue, you should notice it is lightening up over time. Try moving it up 3 inches and let it sit for a week to see what happens and then another 3in.
