Our house was previously owned by a rose fanatic. He actually CREATED hybrids and grew them in the basement. There are over 150 rose plants on the property and we are done trying to sort them out and we are going to pull them all to make a brand new start with landscaping. So... if anyone is into roses and would like to come and dig out some plants we are ready to give them up. Most of the roses had Jackson & Perkins tags with the names on them but my kids liked to pull them off and now most are "mystery" rose plants.
I would like to get frags for them or if anyone has softies they would like to trade for several plants that would work too. I would love to find a large frogspawn, hammer or bubble (or all 3). I can help dig them up but it's going to be first come, first served.
I looked up some of the names on the tags and they retail for around $20 each. If you don't have frags and would like to buy them I would say $5 each is fair. Some are cut down to 2" tall and some are 6 feet tall. Some are pink, yellow, red, white, peach and some are tiny flowers others are 4" across. There are at least 100 to choose from.
