Well surprise surprise my clowns that I have in a tank at work laid eggs! Didnt notice until today, I can already see the eyes so they should be free swimming anytime soon I guess.

So does anyone have rotifers?! I think it was Brett that used to culture them but ive lost his number, aquaph you out there?! :spin1:

thanks guys!

Hey Aron, no I haven't had Rotifers for a while. I got my starter strain from Sea horse source if your looking, they were really nice to deal with.

You probably want to get the eggs into a breeder box if possible I had a pair of breeding clowns that laid prob 20 or so clutchs not one lasted the hatching night. I ended up getting rid of them because they where so mean and created sandstorms ever chance they got.

Congrats!!! Aron there is a guy up in Phoenix that breeds clowns, he could sell you some...I believe he goes under Reefstew.

Hey scuba, how's the work coming along =p I'm thinking about ordering a culture from reed mariculture since they have a nice little starter kit but still not quite sure

Reef has great stuff! They are hardy once you get them started. I put a jar outside in July with them in it as a test. They went into a resting state. I put them inside 3 months later added phyto and the culture started right up. Make sure you get a screen to harvest.
