Hey guys where can I get this? my clown laid eggs! not sure if I'm going to be able to get them, I don't want to remove the frogspawn. But in case I get the larvae if they hatch, I'l like to try. Here are a couple of pics.

There is very little you will be able to do for this batch of eggs. The babies will need a constant supply of rotifers in order to grow, and buying them a batch at a time will be difficult if not impossible. In order to grow the babies you will need an ongoing culture of rotifers to keep them fed and an ongoing culture of phytoplankton to keep the rotifers well fed.

Yeah, that's what I've been reading, it looks like they are ready to hatch and I'm too late for the rotifiers to get going, I guess coral food for now.

Anyone successuflly raising clowns around our area?

there are several people in the orlando area doing them. one of them is john the realtor. not sure if he visits these forums but i do know that he always has babies and nymotts has been taking babies to him from his clowns.

Our monthly meeting guest speaker, Joe Burger just did a presentation on culturing phyto and rotifers.

If you want to harvest the eggs and try to grow them, have you considered using a piece of flooring tile or plant potter like others have done to give a smooth clean surface for them to lay the eggs on? Then you can remove them to a hatching tank right before they hatch and get lost in the water column.
