Rough idea on rock size to weight ratio

Sir Richard of TBS,

Can you perhaps please take a pic of what a 20lb pile of rocks looks like, ruler or tape measure next to stuff for scale? My 40B is done, I have lace rock to use and money is tight, but I want that life! My Mantis deserves a good home with lots o stuff! Also I can try to specify a general type of rock I'd like also correct? Like I have some large round boulders of lace and live rock currently, but no good shelf or branching pieces.

Also, is it too much to ask for you to give it a good once over to make sure there are no OTHER mantis in there? I know you can't be 100% on everything, but another user in the mantis forum said he got *7* in a 40lb package. That is a LOT of mantis. :D I don't want my poor Googly (G. Ternatensis) having to fight off other mantis since he is small.

I may have already asked that second question but I can't remember. One mantis sneaking through is ok since I have a spare tank I could house him in until I found him a home.

Forgot to include why I was asking. The big weight to side difference between rocks of different locale. I'm worried I will order too little or too much. I have no idea how big around 5lbs of rock would be.

Hiya

The boxes I ship in are 17.17.10 inches....and I usually can fit 20 pounds in each one.....so that will give you an idea on volume!

Mantis?...is hit and miss....you never know....most folks do not get them, but you sure hear from the people that do!
