The age old problem with buying new technologies... PROS/CONS.

After researching TONS of light fixtures and reviewing hundreds of customer reviews I narrowed my options to two fixtures. (Factors to a decision... Control-ability, Upgrade-ability, Color spectrum.)

LED LIGHT FIXTURES W/EQUIPMENT

Ecotech Radion XR30w (Gen2):

-Needs/Costs for setup and GO!

PROS:
-Works wirelessly with MP40wES.
-Great spread across tank. (Only need 3)
-Whites, Blues, Purples, Reds, and Greens, color variation options.

CONS:
-Only ceiling or wall hang, with brackets and cables. (Rails are black)
-Requires computer to be plugged in to change light settings. (Reeflink coming soon..)
-Controller-less. (Without direct USB connection to computer.)





Aquatic Illumination Vega Color:

-Needs/Costs for setup and GO!

-AI Vega Color LED: (4)@$499.99 ea $1999.96
-AI Controller (If needed): (1)@$79.99
-AI Director: (1)@ $99.99 (approx..)
-*AI EXT Tank Mount: (2-3)@ $64.99 $129.98 or ($194.97)
TOTAL: $2229.93

PROS:
-Built-in wireless to talk to each light.
-At $50 cheaper than Radions (maybe back to $100) can afford (4) for coverage.
-Whites, Blues, Purples, Reds, and Greens, color variation options.
-Unique rail mounting options that "œhide cords". (Also can hung)

CONS:
-Wireless "œlight controller" gets A LOT of bad reviews.
-AI Director still coming"¦(Like WiFi hotspot for lights) (Also expecting Neptune module)
- "œDisco-ball" effect on water.
