round stingray with brown spots!?

I have finally attached pictures of my round stingray. He is about 4" in diameter. A few days i noticed two brown spots on his underside (also visible on his top). The next day i noticed almost 6. They seem to be bothering him, i notice him scratching on the sand and rocks more than usual. all water parameters are great, the temp is 75F. One thing, all the fish in the tank have ich, i removed all of them (except the ray) yesterday. Any clues to what it might be?

He is a bit clumsy. Could it be stings from my long spined urchin or from some of my coral?
