Round tank pics

Well after months of planning and weeks of setting up my tank has finally reached the 6 week mark and is looking great. In a few days my first fish arrive a pair of common clowns. I am going to take the stocking of fish and coral very slowly to make sure I have no system crash.The more I read the more I learn about patience


I have posted a few pics see what you all think. This really is a tank with a differance. Tank specs 500 litre ref 120 litre 80kg live rock, Deltec600 skimmer; MH 2 150w and T5 4 x 24w. I am running carbon 24/7 at the moment. Planning soft coral and LPS Reef


I also have a big question, in the last pic you will see some kind of invert, he or she came with the live rock but I can not find out what it is. I have been looking in very book possible, any ideas anybody??

The tank was bought in South Africa and is 12mm glass with only a single seem. Apparently they come out of China like just about everything else these days. found it on sight www.aquaH20 .co.za. Looking forward to the future

My PH is 8.6 any suggestions why it is si high and will it come down
