I have a purple tang that i have had for about a month now. I got it from a LFS that had it in QT in copper for about 1 month as well. He is doing fine and so are all my other fish, but today I notice this like thin white string comes from his anus. In fact there were like 3 of them one long and 2 short. i would take a picture but he is always on the move. I was watching him and the one long strand fell off and the the two shorter ones now became long. I think its round worm. I just made a batch of medicated frozen food with kanamycin and nitrofurontin (hahah as if he had a UTI int he human world!) Will this work for these? And I have no idea how he'd get round worm there is nothing in the tank that hasnt been in my possession for months....
