Router Port to the Apex controller?

Hi,

Does someone knows how to setup a Linksys WRT54G router so that port 23 is forwarded to the Apex controller? Not clear to me when I look in the router setup.
Tx!
Guillaume

FYI, some carriers block incoming telnet requests (ie port 23) so you may have to create a dummy port in the open range (ie 1023) and then route that dummy port to the Apex port 23.

Then when on the internet you'd need to refer to this dummy port 1023 rather than the default port.

Happy to not had to go with dummy port. I'm a dummy with that stuff so...
Finally got the port open, issue resolved by Curt remotely!
Even got the Internet access open.

Now, I haven't found how to change the Login and Pass. Is this in somewhere in the web pages, the Display? Both?
Thanks!

Check out the sticky at the top with the user guide. It is covered in the Q&A on page 87 -

There are two passwords on the Apex base module. The first and most obvious is the password to access the unit via the web pages. This comes preset from the factory as userid: admin and password: 1234. You can change it via the display unit through System "“ Net Setup. You have to reboot the base module in order for the changes to take effect. There is also a password you can set on the display itself to prevent tampering by your 3-year old. By default, this is "xyz" and can be updated via the Setup → Display Ssetup → Display Password screen. To lock the display, select Control/Status "“ Display Lock. You will be prompted for the password the next time you want to use the display. If you set the display lock and later forget what the password is you can reset it to the default by cycling the power on the base unit. It will reset to the default any time you cycle the power
