Router Port

I updated my apex to use another port "not 80" now when I type in the web address without the port number on it i'm sent to my router login screen. Is there a way to send port 80 to empty space rather than my router or apex?

Are you using the Apex's actual IP address or the router's public IP address when this happens?

If the latter, look for a remote management option in the router config - either disable that feature, or change the port used.

it happens when i use the public ip address. the access control was disabled

If you are hitting the public IP address on port 80 from inside your network, don't worry about getting the router's management page... that's normal.

If you are getting the router's web server from the Internet, then something is amiss.

It didn't occur to me that it was because I was inside my network that I was getting my router. I just tried it from work and did not see the router.

Thanks it was really starting to freak me out that my router sign in screen was showing up.
