Royal Feather Duster

I was looking at blue zoo the other day to see about possibly adding a feather duster and came across some that they refer to as a royal feather duster. They are maroon and gold and seem to also be referred to as a fountainhead feather duster. All I can find on them is that they are a soft tube species. Does anyone have experience with these or any advice for keeping one.

blue zoo says they are fine for beginners so i wouldn't think they are different to care for than any other feather duster. you need to decide where it will live in your tank, put it there and then just leave it alone. if stressed, the worm will leave the tube and while they can form another tube somewhere else, it may not and you'll never see it again.

feather duster worms use their crown to catch food with. i have never spot fed any feather duster. i think the coco worms are a little harder to manage but i don't know why.
