A very smart friend who told me that could put several Royal Grammas in my 400 gallon tank. I have one royal gramma now nd was thinking about addition 2-3 more. Should I beleive my friend?

I have heard you can put them in groups if they were introduced at the same time. And alot of hiding places. With them being in a 400 gallon. I really can't see them conflicting too much.

agree... I would say 3 - 4 is better than two for when they grow old enough to establish a pecking order.

In the wild a great deal of their time is spent defending territory.

From the videos and what I have read, the territory is very small and I think 400g with decent caves should be enough to give everyone space.

They seem to like rocks with one hole to get in and out, so maybe look to add some of those, or like those little fake vases they sell, hide a couple of those really well.
