Is this truly a RTBA?? The LFS called it a fire RTBA since the tip was orange/yellow in color. When it was small, I can see the bubble tip. Now it looks like a long tentacle anamone......

Sorry, here's the pic.....

You know, my guy looks just like that too. However, all the BTA that I have seen have the short stubby bubble tip like tenticles. My BTA looks just like yours, but the tips are pink and it is a GBTA, not the RBTA. I know ppl can mistag things easy -- they aren't marine biologist, they just work there. I hope someone with some knowledge can chime in b/c I still wonder what my anenome is. Every once in a while I will see one of his tenticles turn into the bubble like shape that gives it the name, but most of the time he looks just like the picture you show there, but the tenticles are a little fatter.

that is a nice BTA with yellow tips.

lots of BTA lose their bubbles in the wild and captivity.

yes many different people have reported havign bubbles or non bubbles. personally IMO it just depends on the anemone. my GBTA has bubbly tips but ive had many that do not.

If it is red or pink in color then it is a Rose bubble tip anenome or RBTA. GBTA is short for Green Bubble Tip Anenome. I think you do have a RBTA, with yellow tips, that is cool!!

Yeah its a "green" BTA. ive seen a few RBTA with yellow tips and some call them sunburst RBTA or names liek that they are very nice looking though you have a purty specimen. when it splits let me get a clone!

Thanks guys...Wanted to make sure it was a RBTA since I paid a hefty price for it.....I didn't know they split? How many months before they split?
