rtn and then color. hmm

i had a brown piece and after about 3 weeks it started to rtn and then bam its starting to turn greenish is this normal?

Depends if you fixed what was causing it to RTN.

just regular maintenance. thats the only piece that was rtning

If it rtn'd and then you are seeimg green, then that is probably algae turning the whtie dead coral into a green dead coral, happened to me

Maybe you should be calling it the beginnings of STN. Then it stopped and now you are starting to get color. I have had this happen to me more times than I like to admit. And it probably has something to do with the fact that I dont acclimate my corals... :/
