tank has been healthy for a while. suddenly four of my ecnoporas are rtn and others are healthy.

cause...

so much calcium choride/
overdose of photoplankton?
bulbs went towards red spectrum.vho.
phosphate reactor was off .. i idid not know.. but no signs of phosphate on test kit... i know doesnt mean there is none.

let me know your thoughts..

thanks

here is pic of another going in the tank

i am usually good about dosing calcium and other stuff.. but last week i thought the calcium suolutin was dilluted but it was direct from kent bottle. i usually dose caclium slowly over the day by dripping half and half solution. i thouhgt it was last of bottle ..drops so i thought it was mostly ro water.. wrong it was the new bottle not the old. i noticed that the caclcium level has dropped.

something went out of wake.. other thought is rise in phosphates. notice the green that have over taken the coral from the base upwatds.

finally thoght and really why i posted.... has anyone gotten a case of RTN after dosing heavyly with photoplankton.

an overdose of calcium would lead to a drop in alkalinity, and would certainly mess with some acros.

i do notice in the last picture the acro looks very green, if that is the skeleton it is a sign of high phosphates.
sorry to say it but i believe that is rtn, not bleaching.

agreed it is my understanding also that it is a sign of high phosphates .. yet the test kit shows almost zero...

thanks though...
