RTN? Time To Frag? Or leave it alone?

I just got this acro yesterday, but when I came home I realized one tip was turning white. The skin was peeling off revealing the bone white skeleton.

It could have been touching another acro at the LFS, because they had a big new shipment and all the new SPS were packed pretty tightly together in their tanks.

I took this picture yesterday, and right now it looks the same (18hrs ago). No additional peeling:

What should I do?? TIA

If not additional peeling I would just watch it. If it starts to peel more then frag off the affected area, otherwise leave it alone if it is not getting worse.

if it is a large colony and that is just one small branch that is RTN, i would go ahead and frag it.... RTN can destroy a huge colony within hours, so if you are gone to work or something, it could happen.... it seems like fragging would be a small price to pay when you consider the bigger one... JMO

It's not huge, it's just a new small colony I bought yesterday.

Even if it isnt RTN, would it recover and regrow over the white part? If not, maybe it's best I cut that branch off anyways?

that looks like RTN, but i would say that it would end up growing around the onld one, and probably over top of it, but i would say to frag it to be safe...if were me, i would sleep better at night.... but if you are not that worried about it.... i would watch it, and if you see any more signs of RTN, then i would frag....
