Rubber glove safety?

Are regular new rubber gloves (ones used for cleaning) safe to use in aquariums?

as long as you make sure they're not scented or have any antibacterial or fugnal resistance or anythign then yea, i use rubber gloves found at the grocery store

Go to your grocery store and look for latex gloves.. they should be safe for your aquarium and I have seen the shoulder length ones before in my LFS.

why do u even need gloves

because of bristle worms, because its a good idea to keep any chemicals that may be on your hands out of your tank, because saltwater hurts like hell on any cuts you have. and the salt drying afterwards to make your hands all crusty is annoying. just makes it easier

It's also possible to get bacterial infections from your tank.
