rubber maid conainers

Are these ok to use for water changes. I was not sure if any one used them and if there were any issues with things leaching into the water.

I've used them in the past with no issues. However, they say long term use could leach things into the water.

Ideally the Rubbermaid Brute garbage cans are food grade and probably the safest to use in the long run.

I usually have a conatiner on my deck to do the water changes with. but a bit cold for that. I have not done a good water change in WAY to long. Need to get one done here

i use rubbermaid containers with no issues, but i guess i dont really know if anything is leaching into the water.
