Rubber underlayment in fish room (closet)

I put this in the DIY area but I would like to know what my trusted locals think.

I'm planning to add rubber underlayment on the tile floor in my fish room (closet) to help with any kind if water leakage, the weight if the tank and stand (210gal) on the floor, and sound. Mostly it's for the water.

Can you tell me how thick i should go. I can go as thin as 2mm to 1/2 inch, but there is a HUGE price difference.

I appreciate any help!

I was actually going to use an a/c condensation pan in my closet so it would contain and hold any water if anything should leak

Not a bad idea. I'm thinking about doing the whole room and making a "baseboard" out of it. Then I'm going to seal the seams. Let the room fill up! Lol...

I used an oatey shower pan liner inder my new 300 setup, and I'll be using pvc planks as baseboards. I'll fuse them with pvc cement.
