Rubbermaid Refugium

I have an 18g refugium made from a rubbermaid container. Would this make a good / suitable home for a mantis? It could probably split the plastic with one whack I imagine?

I doubt it could smash the sides of the rubbermaid container - there's a lot of give in the walls of those containers. Of course, it really depends on what kind of mantis you're getting, as the smaller ones would have no chance of busting the container.
One thing to keep in mind is that you will see very little of the mantis, since the sides of the container won't be clear.
