Ruby Red Dragonets

Picked up an awesome pair of Ruby Red Dragonets yesterday. These tiny little fish are really cool. Witnessed them both eating a mixture of Reef Chili and NutraMar Ova (frozen prawn roe) which is a really good thing. Here is a little video I made up today of them at feeding time.

Hopefully you have a well established tank that produces pods to feed these guys. They hunt for food all day long, and really like a good constant food supply.

I have a pair of them, and they are bulging at the seems. Caught them spawning during the summer time.

that is a starving fish and doesn't look like it is eating much. that's why they need a large well established tank with a ton of pods. even for just 1 fish. or they at least need to be eating meaningful food with gusto or they will never keep on weight.

If those two are being kept in a 39 gallon tank, they will starve in the long run.
