Running gfo with lights on only?

Im having little bit of an issue with cyano so i ordered a phosban reactor and i have a one un used outlet. Its on a timer with the light. Lights are on for about 7 hours. Could i run gfo with them? Any negative issues may happen? What tho you think?

I can't think of any major disasters this would cause. Clumping might be more likely, but no big deal as that can be corrected. But it might render the entire effort less effective if it's inactive 17 hours per day. If you don't get results or no positive change I'd find another outlet.

This might be a bad idea for bio pellets btw in case anyone asks.
