Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding a fairly new mag18 pump. I had it set up on my old 90 gallon tank about a year ago. I left out of town for a few days and asked my room mate if he could feed my fish and top my water off every couple days. well.....you know what comes next....I called to make sure he did and he claimed he did however when i got home my sump was completely dry in the return portion. My pump wasn't even making a noise at this point. I unplugged it and haven't messed with it sense. My question is would I be wasting my money by buying an impeller or is it worth a shot. I'm not sure what exactly happened to the motor. "burnt out" meaning dead? Thanks
