Rusting impellor

My tunze 1073.040 has been making some noise for the past week so I took it apart today. Seems the impellor has cracked and rusted.




Do you guys think this might be part of the reason my sps has been receding?

Also, can anyone point me in the right direction to getting a new one?

The magnet is a rare earth magnet, I have not seen any consensus, but I do believe they are mildly toxic. If it is less than 2 years old, this would be a warranty issue, the impeller is part 1073.047 and is available on Amazon or Tunze.com.
