S. Gig- Starting treatment log.

So, received a beautiful Gig from LA Divers Den, and He was as healthy as I've seen. I didn't see a need for treating an animal that appeared in great condition. However, after putting him in my tank, the second day I came home to a Gig that was 1/4 of the size when I received him. I thought that it was just because of Lights out. After talking to the boys, I decided to not waste time and get him in the hospital.

Originally thought this coral may have caused the problem, but now that he's on his second day in QT/ treatment, I've changed my mind. He is still in the same condition. Obviously he has an infection.

OK, and finally getting my little ICU in order. Just finished sanding and painting. Still some more work to do, but at least I can move in here now. I had junk scattered everywhere for days. I need to build another small stand for a 5/g and I'm done. Ohh, and need one more heater.

Will probably continue the standard protocol because he is responding well so far.

Lol, yeah...those are my coffee tables and WC buckets!

Not married yet, but getting close boyzz...35 and scared of marriage.

Just about tied the knot with about 3 previous, but backed out last minute, and extremely glad I did. My current girlfriend and I have been together about a year and a half now. I think this one may be the one. Heck, I'm getting old and fat. Maybe I should put a ring on it and call it done. We both really don't want kids just yet. We have a dog, and reef keeps me happy. What more do I need?


Minh, you should swing by sometime. I have a bucket for your coffee and plenty of Mag's and Gig's to look at while we shoot the bull. Lol

Ohh, here's an update on day 4 since we're on the thread. Not much change. Just treated again. 250mg Cipro.

good luck and hope it pulls through. before you tie the knot, you need to get a few more tanks and bolt them to the floor so there's no way of ever moving them elsewhere.

Thx, lol...she has her makup, nails, girly stuff as her hobby, and I have my reef.
We kinda know to leave each alone about what we like to do on our spare time. I tolerate her little hobby of trying to be a beauty queen and she tolerates my reefing. It works...
