S. Gigantea Alk question

How high of alkalinity can an s.gigantea handle. Can it take 11-13 in an sps reef? Just curious..

Actually 12.3-12.7 for accelerated growth. But of course you need more nutrients as well since growth is accelerating so is nutrient consumption.

I understand that with elevated nutrient levels you can get away with running a higher alk and achieve more growth but seems like at that level you might experience some problems. Guess not though.

I always had my alk on 10-12 and I had a gig happy for years, one day he suddenly die

I find that anemones, especially Magnifica and Gigantea are really sensitive to pH and Alkaline swing. I never try to push my alkaline high so don't have any experiences in how high of a alkalinity they tolerate.
