S. Tapetum splitting?

Well I think one of my maxi minis might be splitting. I usually feed them once a week. While I was feeding them tonight I noticed the biggest one looked kind of folded in half and when I fed it, only one side closed over the food. So I fed the other side too and it folded around the food too. It looks like the mouth is stretched as well.

I thought these guys didn't split...Is this just wishful thinking on my part? lol

to help speed up and if u want it to split,u can help and slice it with a razor...they are easy to propagate...

How big are those,I am like you maxi minis don't split,but the smaller mini carpets s. tapetum do.You have some very cool nems

Maxi minis do split on their own At least one I had did.

Thanks. =D I should get a better pic of the blue one for you. It has a neon pink mouth...very cool looking. I need a better camera......

The orange and blue ones to the left of the one in question are about 3". The big one is about 5'' x 3" right now.

I'm too chicken to take a razor to my nems. I know it can be done successfully with these guys but I'll just let them do their thing. If he splits...awesome. If he doesn't split...still awesome. =)

I have a bright red with neon green mouth,it will only get as big as a half dollar.I don't blame you I don't like cutting anemones either.
