Sad day, can you help?

That is so bizarre.

So I guess this is the riddle of the day.

I just don't see how an overnight power outage could've caused this, unless everything in the tank got electrocuted.

I would definitely check out all your equipment and plug in everything one by one and see what you can find.
 
I'll try to test the equipment as I'm doing my water changes. Now it's time to fine tune everything I guess.

I think the final cause of death might of been O2 deprivation. Right now it's the only thing I can think of that makes a great sense.

It's happened to me, too. All the fish dead, and all the motile inverts also dead as high on the rocks as they could get looking for O2. I had a bubbler going, but I didn't even think about taking the cover glass off the tank (idiot :rolleyes: ). I assume there wasn't enough gas exchange leading to way low O2.
