Safe Glass cleaner

I was wondering, since I'm in the process fo cleaning out my 75 gal I just purchased, what is safe to be used on the inside of the glass. I'm not setting this tank up for a few months (after we move) and since it is going to be sitting out, I want it to at least look spotless. That way the G/F won't see it as a mess.

So what kinda cleaner can be used on the INSIDE of the glass that will not hurt any critters in the long run, after I set it up?

white vinegar will help cut through the grime....

then rinse well and should be harmless.... it is a mild acid so you do want to watch long term exposer to hands.... and it smell sooooooooo good when cleaning with it

That's what I used on my 90 and it was encrusted in crap when I got it. I used the green scratch pads with it, then just rinsed the heck out of it.

the green scratch wasn't harsh enough to scratch the glass? That's comforting Mine isn't encrusted with crap, just some sand debris and water spots. I already scrubbed the corraline off and as far as it goes is clean , just need to get those water spots off of it!

If it were an acrylic tank I might worry but glass is a little more forgiving.

I have scratched tanks with the green pads so be careful. To leave a spotless shine you can use rubbing alcohol.
